How do you get onto the Internet?
Find a designer (that's me) and discuss your ideas for your site.
Find and Internet Service Provider to house your business site when the designer has created it (I can help with this see Hosts.html
Decide whether you want to have a domain, and if so, find out how to arrange it - ask your Internet Service Provider or Designer - or see domains.
The housing of your site probably doesn't include the cost of connecting from your office or home to the Internet to pick up e-mail, browse other sites, etc. - ask your Internet Service Provider for details.
Your designer will create the "site" - a combination of text, visuals, Java, animated pictures, database, etc as required to best represent YOUR purpose.
Promote your site through search engines, award sites, appropriate newsgroups, affiliated interest groups (ring sites), or ask me to do it for you.
Sit back and relax (for about a week!).
Now, monitor the traffic you get to your site (i.e. a counter on your page), and then go back and repeat step 6 as often as required. Ask your designer for tips.
Update your site as regularly as you need to. If you need help with this - ask your designer to suggest ways for you to do it yourself, or we can do it for you.
SheSalt.com Design is always happy to help with all of the above. All it costs you is an
e-mail or 'phone call.
